Player Levels

As you gain more fame, your title increases. In addition you get a number of benefits, including being able to control more heroes and mines, and having more Action Points. The information is summarized in the table below.

One of the most important aspects of level is being able to control multiple cities. While players get the ability to control a second city relatively early, the strong defense of NPC castles makes it very unlikely that this is going to happen. Of course a new player with the support of a guild might have allies destroy another player's non-main castle so that they can capture it.

Note: The recommended force for taking a standard NPC castle (aka one not previously owned by player and with lv1 buildings) is 200000 force (although 250000 is better). A level 20 hero is usually required to hold this amount of force (some items give unit cap bonuses, so it is possible to hold 200K with a lower-leveled hero).

Note: It is not possible to capture a player's main castle.

Tip: I believe that it is possible to defend non-main castles from this tactic by keeping defenders in the castle (i.e. not assigned to any hero). I have yet to test this, however.

Entries with a question mark and a number are estimates. The Max Sent column is the maximum number of heroes that can be out of the castles on errands at any one time; it is not currently clear whether it is ever possible to send more than 3 at one time. The AP Regen is the number of AP regained per hour, up to the maximum AP.
